Walang credible o imminent na destabilisasyon laban sa administrasyong Marcos, ayon sa ulat ng Philippine National Police (PNP).
Ayon kay Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., Chief, PNP, walang nakikitang batayan upang mabahala ang publiko hinggil sa mga tangkang patalsikin si Pangulong Marcos.
“The PNP maintains a high level of alertness, but as of now, we have no validated intelligence indicating a credible, imminent threat of a military-backed movement,” saad ni PGen Nartatez Jr.
Kaugnay ng umano’y mga tangkang destabilisasyon, tiniyak ni CPNP Nartatez sa publiko na hindi magpapadala ang PNP sa mga haka-hakang politikal o mga salaysay na may kinikilingan, at iginiit na nakatuon sa kanilang mandato na protektahan ang komunidad laban sa kriminalidad.
“Our loyalty is to the Constitution and the Filipino people, not to any political faction. Our job is to ensure order on the streets and in the communities. We remain professional and focused on our anti-crime mandate. Both organizations are committed to the chain of command and the stability of the administration,” dagdag ni PGen Nartatez Jr.
