Nasabat ang tinatayang Php238,000 halaga ng hinihinalang shabu na nagresulta sa pagkakadakip ng isang lalaking suspek sa isinagawang intelligence-driven buy-bust operation ng mga tauhan ng Valenzuela City Police Station sa kahabaan ng Galas Street, Barangay Bignay, Valenzuela City nito lamang Hulyo 30, 2026.
Ayon kay Police Major General Anthony Aberin, Regional Director ng National Capital Region Police Office, ang suspek ay isang 55 anyos na nabilhan ng isang heat-sealed plastic sachet Ng hinihinalang shabu ng isang undercover na pulis.
Narekober sa naturang operasyon ang nasa 35 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng Php238,000, buy-bust money, coin purse at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11, Article II ng Republic Act No. 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“Every gram of illegal drugs removed from our communities means fewer lives exposed to addiction, violence and criminal exploitation. The NCRPO will continue to identify, pursue and arrest those who profit from the distribution of dangerous drugs across Metro Manila,” mensahe ni PMGen Aberin.
