Nanawagan ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Police General Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr., Chief, PNP, sa lahat ng ahensya ng gobyerno na magsagawa ng masusing pagsusuri sa kanilang mga digital na depensa matapos ang cyberattack na sumira sa opisyal na mga website ng Senate of the Philippines at House of Representatives of the Philippines sa isinagawang news release nito lamang Linggo, Hunyo 14, 2026 sa Camp Crame, Quezon City.
“This incident serves as a reminder that cybersecurity must remain a top priority for all government agencies. We encourage institutions to regularly review their security protocols, update their systems, and strengthen monitoring mechanisms against evolving cyber threats,” saad ni PGen Nartatez.
Nabatid na na-deface o napalitan ang laman ng website ng Kamara noong Sabado, ilang araw lamang matapos ang kahalintulad na cyberattack laban sa website ng Senado at isang grupo ng mga hacker ang umako sa pag-atake at nagsabing ito ay isang protesta laban sa katiwalian sa gobyerno.
Noong Hunyo 11, Senate hacker “Nullsec Philippines” ay nag-post na “every peso lost to corruption is a meal taken from a family, a classroom left unfinished, and a future denied. The Filipino people entrusted you with power, responsibility, and the duty to serve the nation– not personal interests, political dynasties, or corruption.”
“Inatasan ko ang PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) na agad na makipag-ugnayan sa House of Representatives at iba pang kaugnay na ahensya upang matukoy ang pinagmulan, paraan, at lawak ng pagkasira ng website. Magsasagawa tayo ng masusing imbestigasyon at sisiguraduhing makikilala at mapapanagot ang mga responsable,” mensahe ni CPNP Nartatez.
