Nasabat ang tinatayang Php588,000 halaga ng smuggled na sigarilyo sa ikinasang operasyon ng mga awtoridad nito lamang Nobyembre 18, 2025 sa Barangay Samal Village, Maluso, Basilan.
Ayon kay Police Brigadier General Jaysen C De Guzman, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, nadiskubre ng kapulisan ang inabandona na 15 boxes ng assorted na smuggled na sigarilyo mula sa isang pump boat na aabot sa halagang Php588,000.
“I commend the unwavering efforts of our PNP personnel in Basilan for their relentless campaign against smuggling, illegal drugs, and other forms of criminality. Your dedication and vigilance reflect our shared commitment to keeping our communities safe and upholding the rule of law in the Bangsamoro Region,” mensahe ni RD De Guzman.
