Huli ang isang lalaki at nasabat ang tinatayang Php1.7 milyong halaga ng shabu, baril at bala sa ikinasang operasyon ng mga awtoridad sa Datu Montawal, Maguindanao del Sur nito lamang Enero 17, 2026.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Sultan Salman H. Sapal, Provincial Director ng Maguindanao del Sur Police Provincial Office, ang suspek na si alyas “Malik,”.
Narekober sa naturang operasyon ang 262.96 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng Php1,788,128, isang caliber .38 revolver at dalawang bala.
Ang suspek ay mahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o ang “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”, at Republic Act 10591 o ang “Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition”.
“This successful operation is clear proof that our law enforcement units remain relentless in protecting our communities. We will not stop. Operations will continue to ensure the safety of our people and the peace of our communities,” saad ni PCol Sapal.
