Arestado ang isang pekeng abogado sa kasong Usurpation of Authority at Swindling ng mga tauhan ng Taguig City Police Station nito lamang Miyerkules, Abril 27, 2026.
Ayon kay Police Colonel Julius C. Anoñuevo, Chief of Police ng Taguig CPS, kinilala ang suspek na si alyas “Lauraine”, babae, 24 anyos.
Nabatid na isang 24-anyos ang nag-report sa mga awtoridad sa iligal na gawain ng pekeng abogado. Batay sa imbestigasyon, nagbayad ang biktima sa suspek para sa acceptance at legal fees. Kinutuban ang biktima, kaya sinuri nito ang pangalan ng suspek sa opisyal na listahan ng mga abogado ng Korte Suprema, ngunit walang lumabas na resulta.
Nang hindi makapagpakita ang suspek ng lisensya mula sa Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) o Lawyer’s ID at umamin na hindi siya miyembro ng bar, agad na ipinaalam ng biktima ang insidente sa mga awtoridad at agad na inaresto.
Narekober mula sa suspek ang isang National ID, pera at isang MacBook Neo.
