Boluntaryong sumuko ang isang miyembro ng Dawlah Islamiyah-Maute Group sa mga awtoridad nito lamang ika-21 ng Oktubre 2025 sa Barangay Nangka, Balo-i, Lanao del Norte.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Christopher C Abrahano, Acting Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, ang boluntaryong sumuko na si alyas “Waki”, 19 anyos, walang trabaho, residente ng Barangay Talao, Piagapo, Lanao del Sur.
Ang boluntaryong pagsuko ng miyembro ng Dawlah Islamiyah-Maute Group ay naging posible dahil sa pagsisikap ng 1005th Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10, Munai Municipal Police Station, Lanao del Norte Provincial Intelligence Unit at Regional Intelligence Division at 44th Infantry Battalion, 1st Infantry Division ng Philippine Army.
Napag-alaman na ang sumuko ay may nakabinbin na Warrant of Arrest sa Two (2) Counts of Murder at One (1) Count of Attempted Murder sa ilalim ng Criminal Case Nos. 24-30018, 24-30019, at 24-30020 na walang inirekomendang piyansa sa Two (2) Counts of Murder at Php120,000 sa Attempted Murder.
