Boluntaryong sumuko ang dalawang miyembro ng Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) sa magkahiwalay na operasyon ng mga awtoridad sa 2nd PMFC Headquarters sa Barangay Pinamaloy, Don Carlos, Bukidnon at Purok-8, Barangay Zamboanguita, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Christopher N Abrahano, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, ang mga sumuko na sina alyas “Dodong,” 42 anyos, single, magsasaka at alyas “Rapid,” 53 anyos, may asawa, dating miyembro ng Special Regional Strike and Development Group (SRSDG), Sub-Regional Committee 2 (SRC2), North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC).
Naging matagumpay ang operasyon dahil sa pagtutulungan ng mga tauhan ng Bukidnon 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, Kibawe Municipal Police Station (MPS), Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit; 1003rd Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10; Regional Intelligence Unit 10; 1013rd Special Action Company, 1st Special Action Battalion, PNP-SAF; Directorate for Intelligence–Mindanao Area Police Intelligence Office (DI-MAPIO),
“The decision of these individuals to abandon the armed struggle and return to the folds of the law is a positive step toward peace and a better future. We encourage those who remain in the armed movement to choose peace, surrender voluntarily, and take advantage of the government’s reintegration program,” saad ni RD Abrahano.
