Sumuko sa kapulisan ng Cuartero Municipal Police Station ang tinaguriang Top 2 Most Wanted Person ng Cuartero, Capiz dahil sa kasong three counts ng Acts of Lasciviousness alinsunod sa Section 5(b), Article III ng Republic Act No. 7610, nito lamang June 25, 2026 sa Barangay Poblacion Ilawod, Cuartero.
Kinilala ang naturang suspek na si alyas “Kano,” 46 years old, isang laborer at residente ng Cuartero, Capiz. Siya ay may nakabinbing mga warrant of arrest na inisyu ng Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 14, Roxas City, Capiz noong April 30, 2026.
“The voluntary surrender of this wanted person reflects the sustained pressure and persistent efforts of our police units in locating wanted persons and ensuring that they answer before the courts. We remain steadfast in protecting children from abuse and exploitation while pursuing justice for every victim and their families,” pahayag pa ni Acting Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño
“We urge all wanted persons to peacefully surrender and face the charges against them through the proper legal process. There is no substitute for accountability under the law,” dagdag pa niya.
Hinikayat naman ng PRO6 na sumuko na rin ang ibang mga personalidad na mayroong nakabinbing mga warrant of arrest para maiwasan pa ang anumang uri ng aberya.
Alinsunod sa layunin ng “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman,” mas palalawakin pa ng PRO6 ang kanilang kampanya kontra sa lahat ng uri ng kriminalidad, maging sa mga wanted person para sa kaligtasan ng lahat ng mga mamamayan sa rehiyon.
