Naaresto ang tinaguriang Top 5 Most Wanted Person ng Bicol Region sa ikinasang joint operation ng mga awtoridad noong Mayo 11, 2026 sa Palanas, Masbate.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Erosito N Miranda, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 5, ang suspek na si alyas “Rick,” 47 anyos, residente ng Palanas, Masbate na dinakip sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa kasong Murder na walang inirekomendang piyansa.
Naging matagumpay ang operasyon dahil sa pagsisikap ng mga tauhan ng Masbate 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, Cataingan Municipal Police Station, at Provincial Intelligence Unit ng Masbate Police Provincial Office.
“The arrest of a Regional Most Wanted Person is a clear manifestation of our sustained and relentless campaign against fugitives of justice. PRO5 will continue to intensify intelligence-driven operations to locate, arrest, and bring to justice all wanted persons, regardless of their status or influence. There will be no haven for criminals in the Bicol Region.” Saad ni RD Miranda. Patuloy ang PRO 5 sa walang humpay na kampanya sa pagtugis sa mga taong may sala sa batas at sa pagbibigay ng hustisya sa kanilang naging biktima, na isa sa mga hangarin ng “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyong mabilis, tapat at nararamdaman.”
