Kinlaro ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) ang nag-trending na social media post kaugnay sa isang puting mobile patrol vehicle na may (Plate No. SAA 9686) kung saan nakakubli ang license plate nito.
“We wish to clarify that the vehicle in question is currently in full compliance with Republic Act No. 4136 (Land Transportation and Traffic Code). Specifically, the unit has ensured adherence to Section 18, which mandates that all license plates must be kept clean, visible, and legible at all times,” paliwanag pa ng QCPD.
Saad pa ng QCPD na na-report na rin ng nasabing police station kung saan nakatalaga ang naturang mobile na nasira umano ang nasabing plate number dahil sa sunod-sunod na mga routine operational use.
“As a proactive measure, the plate has been serviced and restored to its proper, legible condition to meet all LTO roadworthiness standards,” dagdag pa ng pahayag.
“The QCPD maintains a policy of strict adherence to all traffic laws and regulations. We have reminded all units to conduct regular inspections of their mobile assets to ensure continued compliance and transparency in our operations,” giit pa ng QCPD.
Nagpasalamat naman ang pamunuan ng QCPD sa maagap na ulat ng publiko, anila: “We thank the public for their vigilance, which helps us maintain the high standards of the service.”
