Nasabat ang tinatayang Php7,040,000 halaga ng smuggled na sigarilyo sa ikinasang operasyon ng mga operatiba ng Regional Special Operations Unit 10 at Laguindingan Municipal Police Station sa P-12, Barangay Poblacion, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental bandang 10:45 ng gabi nito lamang Agosto 11, 2025.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Rolindo M Suguilon, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, ang mga suspek na sina alyas “Tata”, 40, driver, may-asawa, at “Aboy”, 25, helper, single, pawang mga residente ng nasabing lugar.
Narekober ng mga awtoridad ang 101 boxes ng “NELSON” brand, 34 boxes ng “FORT” brand, 29 boxes ng “ASTRO” brand, at 12 boxes ng “COMMANDO” na may halaga na aabot sa Php7,040,000.
