Cagayan de Oro City – Tinatayang Php204,000 halaga ng hinihinalang shabu ang nasabat at tatlong suspek naman ang timbog sa buy-bust operation ng Cagayan de Oro City Police Station 1 – Drug Enforcement Unit sa Santa Cruz 2, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City nito lamang Agosto 24, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Major Peter Tajor, Officer-In-Charge ng Cagayan de Oro City Police Station 1, ang mga suspek na sina alyas “Jessie”, 31; alyas “Eric”, 27; at alyas “Roy”, 33.
Nakuha sa operasyon ang pitong pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na may bigat na 30 gramo na may Standard Drug Price na Php204,000; isang keypad cellphone at isang pirasong Php500 bill na ginamit bilang buy-bust money.
Nahaharap ang mga suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5 at 11, Article II ng RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Pinuri naman ni Police Brigadier General Lawrence Coop, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, ang magandang resulta sa naturang operasyon, “The apprehension of the suspect and the seizure of illegal drugs underscore the determination of PRO10 personnel in combating illegal drug activities across the region. I commend their efforts and dedication to upholding the law and rest assured that PRO10 will never let up its campaign against illegal drugs. Magtulungan po tayo upang ating makamit ang kapayapaan at kaayusan dito sa ating rehiyon”.
