Kasalukuyang iniimbestigahan ng Philippine National Police (PNP), sa pamamagitan ng Police Regional Office 9 at ng Zamboanga City Police Office, ang iniulat na shooting incident sa loob ng isang pribadong paaralan sa Zamboanga City.
Agad nakipagtulungan ang pulisya sa pamunuan ng naturang paaralan, maging sa iba pang mga government agencies, upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral, guro at lahat ng mga tauhan ng nasabing paaralan.
“Police personnel immediately coordinated with school authorities and other concerned agencies to ensure the safety and orderly movement of students, faculty, and school personnel. The situation is now under control,” ayon sa pahayag.
“The PNP likewise encourages parents and guardians to remain calm and follow the school’s advisory, particularly on the designated time and arrangements for picking up their children. This will help ensure an orderly process and allow responding personnel to carry out their responsibilities without unnecessary congestion,” saad pa ng press release.
“Authorities are currently establishing the circumstances surrounding the incident. The PNP will provide verified information as appropriate and appeals to the public to refrain from sharing unconfirmed reports, photos, or videos that may cause unnecessary concern,” dagdag pa ng pahayag.
Tiniyak naman ng PNP sa publiko na nananatiling prayoridad ng himpilan ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng publiko at ng buong school community.
“We thank the school administration, parents, guardians, and the community for their patience, cooperation, and understanding as authorities continue to manage the situation. We urge everyone to remain calm and rely on official advisories for accurate and timely information,” saad pa ng PNP.
