Naaresto ng Police Regional Office 7 ang isang wanted person sa kasong Qualified Statutory Rape sa San Miguel, Bohol nito lamang July 10, 2026.
Nanguna sa operasyon ang mga operatiba ng San Miguel Municipal Police Station (MPS) ng Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) sa Purok 1, Barangay Poblacion, San Miguel, Bohol, sa bisa ng warrant of arrest na inisyu ng Regional Trial Court, Branch 52, Talibon, Bohol noong June 30, 2026, na walang piyansang inirekomenda dahil sa paglabag s Republic Act No. 11648 o ang Qualified Statutory Rape.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng San Miguel MPS ang suspek para sa iba pang mga legal na dokumentasyon.
Pinuri naman ni PBGen Arnold E. Abad, Regional Director of PRO7, ang mga operatiba sa kanilang dedikasyon upang mapanagot sa batas ang naturang suspek.
Aniya: “Every warrant we serve is a step closer to giving victims the justice they deserve. We want the people of Central Visayas to know that we will continue to pursue individuals who try to evade the law, especially those accused of committing serious crimes. To those who remain in hiding, our message is simple: it is only a matter of time. We will find you, we will arrest you, and we will ensure that you face the courts. Our commitment is to protect our communities and uphold the rule of law without fear or favor.”
Tiniyak naman ng PRO7 na magpapatuloy ang kanilang kampanya kontra sa lahat ng mga wanted individuals sa pamamagitan ng mga intelligence-driven operations, at koordinasyon sa iba pang mga law enforcement agencies alinsunod sa adhikain ng PNP na “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.”
