Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas ang Ceremonial Contract Signing sa pagitan ng Public Safety and Mutual Benefits Fund, Inc. (PSMBFI) at Medicare Plus, Inc. na ginanap sa Discovery Suites Manila nito lamang Oktubre 11, 2024. 

Ang seremonya ay dinaluhan ni PNP Chief, Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, kasama sina PLtGen Benjamin Santos (Ret), Tagapangulo ng PSMBFI, at Police Lieutenant General Emmanuel B. Peralta (Ret), Pangulo at CEO ng PSMBFI.

Kinatawan naman ng Medicare Plus, Inc. sina Ms. Maria Jesusa Viray, Chief Executive Officer, at Mr. Jayson Jalandoni, Chief of the Business Development Office.

Kasama rin sa aktibidad sina Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., Deputy Chief PNP for Administration at iba pang mga opisyal mula sa PSMBFI at Medicare Plus, Inc.

Ang nasabing kasunduan ay naglalayong magbigay ng komprehensibo at abot-kayang serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa mga miyembro ng PNP, partikular na sa mga nagsilbi ng 20 hanggang 24 na taon, kabilang na dito ang in-patient at out-patient care, emergency services, dental care, consultation, laboratory tests, at iba pa.

Natapos ang seremonya sa isang simbolikong turnover ng PSMBFI-MPI Card, na nangangahulugan ng opisyal na paglulunsad ng healthcare plan na dinisenyo para sa benepisyo ng mga tauhan ng PNP. Ang pagkakaisa sa pagitan ng PSMBFI at Medicare Plus, Inc. ay isang patunay sa pangako ng PNP na pangalagaan ang kanilang mga tauhan, upang hindi lamang sila nagpoprotekta sa komunidad, kundi sila rin ay protektado sa pamamagitan ng komprehensibong benepisyong pangkalusugan.
