Butuan City – Inihain ang limang Warrant of Arrest sa isang miyembro ng Communist Terrorist Group ng mga tauhan ng Butuan City Police Station-4 sa Butuan Medical Center, Km. 3, Brgy. Baan, Butuan City nito lamang Sabado, Enero 7, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Marco Archinue, City Director ng Butuan City Police Office, ang miyembro ng CTG na si alyas “Rabby”, residente ng Purok 2, Brgy. Taguibo, Butuan City.
Batay sa imbestigasyon, dinala sa ospital si Sumatra matapos masugatan sa engkwetro sa naganap na engkwentro laban sa 65th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army sa Purok 3B, Brgy. Taligaman na nauwi rin sa pagkamatay ng isa nitong kasamahan noong Enero 6, 2023.
Si alyas “Tabby” ay pinaniniwalaang miyembro ng Weakened Guerilla Front 21C, Northeastern Mindanao Committee at may tatlong kaso ng Murder, isang Attempted Murder, at isang Frustrated Murder.
“The Butuan Police together with the other government forces were relentless in its effort in fighting the insurgency problems and atrocities brought by the CTG members and we are committed to end these lawless acts which threatens the peace and order of our city,” pahayag ni PCol Archinue.
