Si Police Brigadier General Jerry F Bearis ay ang dating Deputy Regional Director ng PRO 3 at ang humalili kay Police Brigadier General Roderick Augustus B Alba na itinalaga sa Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD) at nanungkulan sa rehiyon sa loob ng mahigit dalawang buwan.

Pinangunahan naman ng Commander, Area Police Command-Visayas, Police Lieutenant General Patrick T Villacorte ang seremonya na dinaluhan ng mga miyembro ng Command Group, Regional Staff, Chiefs of Police ng Central Visayas, pamunuan ng iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, interfaith leaders, media practioners, at iba pa.

Bahagi ng naging seremonya ay ang turnover ng office symbol, office property, equipment inventory book, at ng command flag.

Sa naging mensahe ni Police Brigadier General Alba, ipinaabot nito ang kanyang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa buong hanay ng PRO 7 sa suporta at pagmamahal na kanilang ibinigay mula sa unang araw ng kanyang panunungkulan.

Maliban pa rito ay muling hinimok ng Heneral ang buong lakas ng PRO 7 na suportahan ang bagong pamunuan at ipagpatuloy ang maayos at mahusay na pagganap ng kanilang mga tungkulin.

“As the new regional director of PRO 7, we shall mark further towards a strong sense of direction with a vision of highly capable, effective, and credible police service by continuously upgrading our capabilities and making sure that the entire police force is within a desired phase that is way beyond the expectation of the people that we serve and protect,” ani Police Brigadier General Bearis.
