Agusan del Sur – Isinagawa ng Agusan del Sur PNP ang Fruit Tree Planting Activity na may tema itong “Kalikasan ay iligtas: Sisimulan ng mga Alagad ng Batas” sa Rizal Elementary School, Brgy. Rizal, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur bandang 8:15 ng umaga nito lamang Martes, Oktubre 4, 2022.
Ang aktibidad ay inisyatibo ni Police Colonel Jovito Canlapan, Officer-In-Charge ng Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office na pinangunahan naman ni Police Lieutenant Colonel Jude Cres Milan, Chief ng Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit.
Tinatayang 100 fruit bearing seedlings gaya ng rambutan, mangosteen, lansones at durian ang naitanim sa paligid ng paaralan.
Nakiisa sa naturang aktibidad ang 1st Agusan del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company, San Francisco Municipal Police Station, Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) San Francisco Chapter, Agusan del Sur PNP Press Corps, Barangay Councils, Parents-Teacher Association (PTA), Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) Officers, Faculties, Staff at mga estudyante ng naturang paaralan.
“Initiating this type of activity is very timely considering the bitter truth about the effects of the so-called Global Warming which resulted to stronger typhoons and other natural calamities worldwide that took thousands of lives. May this activity spread awareness about the significance of planting trees and inspired the citizenry to emulate similar act even when no one is watching,” pahayag ni PCol Canlapan.
