Kinilala ni Police Colonel Jovito Canlapan, ang suspek na si Jose Macadatar Virtudazon, 53, magsasaka at residente ng Brgy. Durian, Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte.

Ayon kay PCol Canlapan, bandang 2:00 ng hapon naaresto si Virtudazon sa Purok-6, Brgy. Maasin, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur ng mga tauhan ng Esperanza Municipal Police Station.

Naaresto ang suspek sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest para sa kasong Murder sa ilalim ng Criminal Case No. 6705 at walang nirekomendang piyansa.
