Arestado ang isang Street Level Individual sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng Ozamiz City PNP sa Barangay Doña Consuelo, Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental nito lamang ika-20 ng Hunyo 2024.
Kinilala ni Police Major Dennis P Tano, Officer-In-Charge ng Ozamiz City Police Station, ang suspek na 28 anyos, bodegero na residente ng nasabing lugar.
Dakong 10:45 ng umaga nang ikasa ang joint buy-bust operation ng mga tauhan ng Ozamiz City Police Station katuwang ang 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company – Misamis Occidental; Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit at Provincial Intelligence Unit – Misamis Occidental sa mismong bahay ng suspek.
Sa naturang operasyon ay nasamsam ang maliliit na mga pakete na hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang bigat na tatlong gramo na may Standard Drug Price na Php20,400, mga drug paraphernalia at isang Php1,000 bill na ginamit bilang buy-bust money.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“We will continue to sustain our momentum in our campaign against illegal drugs, and while we continue to pursue drug clearing operations, we will complement these efforts with anti-illegal drug operations against high-priority targets. We also urge the public to continuously support Ozamiz City Police Station as we continue to liberate the city against the ill effects of illegal drugs”, pahayag ni PMaj Tano.
