Malugod na sinalubong ng pamunuan ng Philippine National Police Academy na si Police Major General Eric Noble, PNPA Director si SILG Atty Abalos sa isinagawang all-female battalion-sized contingent Arrival Honors.
Inilunsad din ang “Buhay Ingatan, Droga ay Ayawan” o BIDA Program kung saan mas pinalakas ang kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga na naglalayon na pababain ang drug demand katuwang ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, National Bureau of Investigation at iba pang government agencies at stakeholders na sumusuporta sa drug war.
Sa naging pahayag ni SILG ay hinimok niya ang mga kadete na maging selfless leaders at binigyang diin ang katangi-tanging tungkulin ng mga ethical standard kaugnay sa trabaho ng mga police officers at inaasahan na maging well-mannered that will promote public service with integrity and honesty by being transparent and trustworthy in their dealings with the masses.
“You will be the future of this country. On your shoulder will lie the peace and order in our beloved Philippines”, dagdag ni SILG Atty. Abalos.
