Nakiisa ang Police Regional Office 13 sa Nationwide Simultaneous Showdown Inspection ng PNP Disaster Response Equipment Capabilities na ginanap sa Camp Colonel Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City nito lamang ika-28 ng Mayo 2024.
Ang aktibidad ay alinsunod sa patnubay ni PGen Rommel Francisco D Marbil, Chief PNP na magtatag ng maagang paghahanda para sa paparating na tag-ulan, gayundin upang masangkapan at sanayin ang mga tauhan ng pulisya upang tumugon sa mga natural na sakuna at kalamidad sa bansa.
Lumahok sa nasabing aktibidad ang PRO13 Command Group, Regional Staff, iba pang Police Commissioned Officers, Police anon-Commissioned Officers, National Support Units, Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF), Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)13, Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (ADNPPO) kasama ang Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) suot ang kanilang Search and Rescue (SAR) uniform.
May kabuuang 248 Search, Rescue and Retrieval Equipment mula sa Regional Mobile Force Company (RMFB)13; 121 mula sa Agusan del Norte PPO; at 57 mula sa BCPO ang na-inspeksyon tulad ng SAR vehicles, rubber boats, ambulansya, personal equipment, team equipment, utility seat, at kagamitan para sa mga biktima.
“We have to ensure that we are more than ready to respond in times of catastrophes or disasters. As first responders, we have the responsibility to save lives and properties,” ani PBGen Nazarro, PRO13 Regional Director.
