Narekober ang tinatayang Php575,000 halaga ng smuggled cigarettes ng mga awtoridad ng Sapang Dalaga Municipal Police Station katuwang ang Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office sa Purok 1, Barangay Libertad, Sapang Dalaga, Misamis Occidental nito lamang ika-17 ng Nobyembre 2024.
Ayon Kay Police Brigadier General Jayden C De Guzman, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, bandang 8:00 ng umaga ay may naiwang mga kahon na smuggled na sigarilyo sa gilid ng daanan.
Narekober ng mga awtoridad ang anim na kahon ng green YS Filter cigarettes, tatlong kahon ng red YS Filter cigarettes at isang kahon ng green Farstar cigarettes na may tinatayang Php575,000.
“This operation reflects the dedication and determination of our personnel to combat smuggled cigarettes in the region. PRO10 will continue to intensify efforts to intercept contraband and uphold the law across our jurisdiction. I urge the public to join us in this effort by staying vigilant and report any illegal activities to the authorities,” pahayag ni ARD De Guzman
