Nasamsam ang Php442,000 halaga ng shabu mula sa isang 32 anyos na babae sa ikinasang joint buy-bust operation ng mga awtoridad nito lamang ika-6 ng Enero 2025 sa Barangay Macabalan, Cagayan de Oro City.
Kinilala ni Police Lieutenant Colonel Ramon Christian S Laygo, Hepe ng Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 10, ang suspek na si alyas “Madam”, 32 anyos, residente ng nasabing lugar.
Nasamsam ang walong pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na nasa 65 na gramo at may street value na nasa Php442,000 at isang Php1,000 bill na ginamit bilang buy-bust money ng mga operatiba ng Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 10 katuwang ang Regional Intelligence Division 10 at PDEA 10.
Nahaharap ang babaeng drug suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
Pinuri naman ni Police Brigadier General Jaysen De Guzman, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office10, ang operating unit para sa matagumpay na operasyon: “These successful operations show how serious and determined we are in combating illegal drugs. With your continued support and cooperation, we can create safer neighborhoods and protect our communities from the dangers and harm caused by illegal drugs.
