Misamis Oriental – Tinatayang Php374,000 halaga ng ilegal na droga ang nakumpiska sa paghahain ng joint Search Warrant sa Zone 5, Brgy. Barra, Opol Misamis Oriental nito lamang Agosto 18, 2022.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Lawrence Coop, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, ang naarestong suspek na si Harry Lem B. Caingin, alyas “Tawi”, 32, residente ng Zone 5, Brgy Barra Opol, Misamis Oriental.
Ayon ka PBGen Coop, isinagawa ang Search Warrant bandang 3:40 ng hapon sa nasabing lugar sa pinagsanib pwersa ng mga operatiba ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operation Unit 10, Opol Municipal Police Station, Highway Patrol Unit 10, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 10 at Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit ng Misamis Oriental.
Nakuha mula sa suspek ang walong pakete na hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 55 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng Php374,000.
“Our primary concern is the people of Northern Mindanao. Using illegal drugs not only harms the offender, but can also destroy the community. That’s why, we shall maintain our efforts in the campaign against illegal drugs para hindi masisira ang kinabukasan ng ibang tao” pahayag ni PBGen Coop.
