General Santos City – Tinatayang nasa Php224,040 na halaga ng ilegal na droga ang nakumpiska ng Police Regional Office (PRO) 12 katuwang ang iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno matapos ang kabi-kabilaang operasyon kontra ilegal na droga sa Rehiyong 12 mula noong Mayo 1-7 ng Mayo 2023.
Ayon kay Police Brigadier General Jimili Macaraeg, Regional Director ng PRO 12, sa 39 operasyon na isinagawa ay umabot sa 32.61 gramo ng shabu at 19.10 gramo ng marijuana ang nasabat na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng Php224,040.
Samantala, 42 indibidwal naman ang inaresto. Anim rito ay tinaguriang High Value Individuals (HVIs), 20 Street Level Individuals (SLIs) at 16 ang nasa Not Listed.
“The numbers of accomplishment mentioned was the result of the collaboration of the PRO 12, counterpart Law Enforcement Agencies in Region XII, and the community, through this teamwork we can stop the proliferation of the illegal drugs in our region. With this, we vow to continue our efforts in strengthening and sustaining programs against anti-illegal drug trade in SOCCSKSARGEN,” ani PBGen Macaraeg.
