Calamba City – Tinatayang Php224,400 na halaga ng shabu ang nakumpiska sa isang High Value Individual (HVI) sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng Calamba PNP at PDEA nito lamang Martes, Hulyo 19, 2022.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Antonio Yarra, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 4A, ang suspek na si Karen Cabezas, 20, residente ng Purok 1, Brgy. Pansol, Calamba City.
Ayon kay PBGen Yarra, bandang 2:12 ng madaling araw naaresto si Cabezas sa naturang lugar ng mga operatiba ng Calamba City Police Station at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Laguna.
Ayon pa kay PBGen Yarra, nakumpiska mula sa suspek ang pitong pirasong heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 33 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng Php224,400, tatlong pirasong Php1,000 bill bilang buy-bust money, dalawang pirasong Php500 bill, coin purse, sling bag at Toyota Wigo na walang plate number.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa paglabag sa RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“The arrest of Cabezas as a High Value Individual only demonstrates the tougher action and program of our police and national government against drugs. Our compatriots can be sure that we in PRO 4A will focus even more on the arrest and suppression of such ill vices to maintain order and tranquility in our society,” pahayag ni PBGen Yarra.
