Laguna – Nasamsam ang tinatayang Php1,035,000 halaga ng shabu sa isang High Value Individual (HVI) sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng Cavite PNP nito lamang Nobyembre 9, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas, Acting Regional Director ng Police Regional Office CALABARZON, ang suspek na si alyas “Jerwin”, babae, 35, residente ng Brgy. Sampaloc 4, Dasmariñas, Cavite, HVI at nakatala bilang Cavite PPO Drugs watchlist.
Naaresto ang suspek sa Walter Mart Parking Lot, Brgy. Zone 4, Dasmariñas City, Cavite sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng mga operatiba ng Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 4A, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit ng Cavite Police Provincial Office at Dasmariñas City Police Station.
Nasamsam mula sa suspek ang isang pirasong nakataling transparent plastic bag at isang pirasong heat sealed transparent plastic bag na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na tumitimbang ng 150 gramo at nagkakahalaga ng Php1,035,000, isang bigkis ng boodley money, isang pirasong keypad cellphone at isang belt bag.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 ng Republic Act 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

I also want to express my gratitude to the members of the community who helped our operatives by providing reliable information with regard to the whereabouts of this suspect and her illegal transactions in Cavite province.
