Nakumpiska ang tinatayang Php1,020,000 halaga ng shabu sa isinagawang joint buy-bust operation ng Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 10, Cagayan de Oro City Police Station 2, Regional Intelligence Division 10, at Regional Intelligence Unit 10 na nagresulta sa pagkakadakip ng dalawang tulak ng droga sa Bolonsori, Barangay Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City noong Enero 7, 2025.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Jaysen C De Guzman, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, ang mga naarestong suspek na sina alyas “Maelyn”, 38 anyos, Top 1 Priority Regional Target at alyas “Gener”, 37 anyos, pawang mga residente ng Barangay Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City.
Napag-alaman na si alyas “Maelyn” ay dati nang naaresto sa parehong kaso na Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 noong 2017 at 2021.
Nakumpiska ang 10 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets na pinaniniwalaang shabu na may timbang na 150 gramo at may Standard Drug Price na aabot sa Php1,020,000.
Kakaharapin ng suspek ang kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
