Camp Crame, Quezon City – Nanguna at pangunahing pandangal si President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. sa pagdiriwang ng ika-121 taong anibersaryo ng Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas na ginanap sa Multi-Purpose Center, Camp Crame, Quezon City nitong Lunes, Agosto 8, 2022.
Ang tema ng naturang selebrasyon ay “Matibay na Ugnayan ng Pulisya at Mamamayan, Tungo sa Pagkakaisa, Kapayapaan, at Kaunlaran,” na akma sa tema ng administrasyon sa pagkakaroon ng “Unity” ng bawat Pilipino.
Isinabay rin sa anibersaryo ang paggawad at pagkilala sa mga piling natatanging miyembro ng PNP na nagpamalas ng kanilang dedikasyon sa trabaho.

Kasama sa mga nabigyan ng award ang PNP Intelligence Group, Finance Service, PRO 5, Cagayan PPO, Zamboanga City Police Office, Urdaneta City Component Police Station, San Jose Municipal Police Station sa Antique, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, 1ST PMFC Mountain Province, at Baguio City Mobile Force Company.
Binigyan rin ng espesyal na pagkilala si NICA Director General Ricardo De Leon (Ret.) sa mga supporta at kontribusyon niya sa PNP.
Sa talumpati ni President Marcos Jr., binigyang pugay niya ang lahat ng miyembro ng pulisya sa kanilang walang humpay na pagbibigay serbisyo sa publiko na pinamumunuan ng bagong Hepe na si Police General Rodolfo Azurin, Jr.
“We acknowledge the outstanding work of the brave men and women of the PNP, who labor tirelessly and to make sure that peace and harmony prevail throughout our country, not only has the PNP manage to continue its relevance to date, it has also maintained its integrity and more ascendancy to faithfully perform its mandate to the nation and for our people. I commend all of you for the job well done, a great deal of respect you deserve for your accomplishments. Mabuhay kayong lahat sa ating mga Kapulisan,” ani President Marcos Jr.
Hinimok naman nya ang lahat ng kapulisan na umiwas sa pang-aabuso at panatilihin ang integridad ng bawat isa, aniya, “Let us continue to conduct our business with utmost integrity and accountability and let us not allow even a hint of dishonesty and abuse to enter into that narrative. You are the vanguards of peace, you are and that you set the example of the kind of leaders that we need to overcome the hindrances of today.”
Sa pagtatapos ng talumpati ng Presidente, muli nyang hinimok na magkaisa at magtulungan ang bawat Pilipino tungo sa pagbangon at pag-angat ng bansang Pilipinas.
