Kinondena ng Philippine National Police ang paggamit ng laser devices ng mga miyembro ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ sa helicopter na ginagamit sa monitoring operation ng pulisya sa KOJC Compound, Davao City nito lamang Agosto 29, 2024.
Nakuhanan sa isang video na tinadtad ng laser devices ang helicopter ng PNP at kinondena ng pulisya ang naturang kilos ng mga tagasunod ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy sapagkat ito ay labag sa batas ng aviation units.
Narito ang naging pahayag ni Police Major Catherine Dela Rey, Chief, Regional Police Information Office 11 hinggil sa isyu, “Such behavior is a direct threat to the safety and operational effectiveness of our law enforcement aviation units. The use of lasers against aircraft is not only dangerous but also a clear violation of aviation safety regulations and legal standards. The PNP is simply performing its duties and any attempt to obstruct or delay our operations will not benefit anyone thus we urge you to stop such actions for the safety of all involved.”
