Tanay, Rizal – Maayos na isinagawa ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) at Philippine National Police, ang pagbisita at inspeksyon sa Masungi Georeserve sa Tanay, Rizal nito lamang Biyernes, Setyembre 23, 2022.
Ang aktibidad ay pinangunahan ni Benjamin Abalos, Sekretarya ng DILG, DENR at PNP sa pamumuno ni Police General Rodolfo S Azurin, Chief, Philippine National Police, katuwang ang Police Regional Office 4A sa pamumuno ni Police Brigadier General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., Regional Director.
Nakiisa rin ang Rizal Police Provincial Office sa pamumuno ni Police Colonel Dominic Baccay, Provincial Director; Regional Police Community Affairs and Development Unit 4A sa pamumuno ni Police Lieutenant Colonel Owen Banaag, Officer-In-Charge; Tanay Municipal Police Station, Antipolo City Police Station at Baras Municipal Police Station.
Sa naturang inspeksyon, naresolba ang namuong isyu, alitan at hidwaan sa pagitan ng land caretakers at security agency personnel.
Samantala, inutos naman ni PBGen Nartatez ang pagpapakalat ng mga kapulisan sa lugar para magsagawa ng 24-hour patrol at police visibility.
Layunin nitong mas paigtingin ang seguridad sa Masungi Georeserve upang matiyak ang kaligtaan, kapayapaan at kaayusan sa nasabing tourist spots.
