Lipa City, Batangas – Arestado ang isang miyembro ng gun-for-hire group sa ikinasang operasyon ng Batangas PNP nito lamang Miyerkules, Hunyo 22, 2022.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Rix Villareal, Chief of Police ng Lipa City Police Station, ang suspek na si Alvin Buenavista y De Chavez, 25, tubong Malabanan Sur, Candelaria, Quezon, residente ng Tiaong, Quezon at miyembro ng Antonio Camo Gun-for-Hire Group na nag-ooperate sa Lipa City at kalapit na munisipalidad.
Ayon kay PCol Villareal, bandang 9:47 ng umaga naaresto si Buenavista sa Brgy. Mataas na Lupa, Lipa City, Batangas ng pinagsanib na puwersa ng Lipa City Police Station, Police Intelligence Unit at Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Ayon pa kay PCol Villareal, ang suspek ay nagtago mula pa noong 2018 na may standing Warrant of Arrest para sa kasong Murder at Frustrated Murder, ang isa ay walang rekomendasyong piyansa habang ang isa ay may rekomendadong piyansa na Php200,000.
“We can see through such accomplishment the importance of our strengthened and good relations with the community, developed thru our barangay information network and assets as part of our intelligence operation. With the arrest of the suspect, justice will be served to his victims”, ani PBGen Yarra, Regional Director ng CALABARZON.
