South Cotabato – Tinatayang nasa Php442,000 halaga ng shabu ang nasabat sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng PNP sa Probinsya ng South Cotabato na nagresulta sa pagkaaresto ng isang drug suspect nito lamang ika-25 ng Hulyo 2023.

Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Jimili Macaraeg, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 12, ang nadakip na suspek na si alyas “Sanny”, 47, mekaniko, at residente ng Magaslong, Datu Piang, Maguindanao Del Sur.

Ayon kay PBGen Macaraeg, bandang 1:49 ng madaling araw ng isinagawa ang operasyon sa Barangay Silway 8, Polomolok, South Cotabato ng mga operatiba ng Polomolok MPS, PDEG SOU 12, South Cotabato Police Provincial Office, PRO 12 at sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 12.

Nakumpiska sa suspek ang tatlong pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na tumitimbang ng humigit-kumulang 65 gramo at may tinatayang halaga na Php442,000, isang yunit ng Mini-Van, isang cellphone, dalawang pirasong Php1,000 bill na ginagamit bilang buy-bust money, 98 pirasong Php1,000 bill bilang boodle money, at iba pang mga personal na kagamitan.

Nakuha rin mula sa pag-iingat ng suspek ang isang yunit ng caliber 45 pistol na may kasamang magazine at 4 na bala.

Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa R.A.9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at RA 10591 o Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
