Mas pinaigting ng Kasurog Cops ang kanilang kampanya na turuan ang mga bata tungkol sa pang-aabuso at kanilang karapatan sa probinsya ng Catanduanes.
Bilang bahagi ng Virtual Bisita Eskwela, nagsagawa ng information drive ang Catanduanes 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company hinggil sa rape sa mga piling bata sa Barangay Timbaan, San Andres.
Tinalakay ng mga pulis kung paano nila mapo-protektahan ang kanilang mga sarili laban sa pang-aabuso, gayundin ang halaga ng pagtitiwala sa mga kapulisan
During the activity, the police officers discussed how the children would protect themselves, the importance of trusting the police in fighting for their rights, and the readiness of the police to assist them.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar hailed the cops for their initiative as he also stressed the importance of making children well-informed.
“Maganda na sa murang kaisipan pa lamang, malaman na ng mga bata ang kanilang mga karapatan at matatak na sa kanilang pag-iisip na ang kapulisan ay handa na bigyan sila ng proteksyon sa anumang pagkakataon,” PGen Eleazar said.
“I appreciate the efforts of our personnel from the Catanduanes 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company on their initiative of reaching out to children in order for them to realize that policemen are not enemies but friends who are always ready to protect and defend them,” he added.
School supplies and snacks were also given to the kids after the activity.
