Pormal na inanunsyo ni PNP Chief, Police General Rodolfo S Azurin, Jr sa Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony sa Kampo Crame ang pakikiisa ng Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas sa selebrasyon ng Civil Service Commission sa kanilang ika-122 anibersaryo nitong Lunes, Oktubre 3, 2022.

Kasabay nito ang paglagda ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR) sa pagitan ng PNP at Informatics College Manila, Inc kung saan ayon sa pahayag ni General Azurin, Jr, mayroong nakalaan na 10,000 slots scholarship with 50% discount at lima pang slots na may 100% tuition discount para sa uniformed and non-uniformed PNP personnel kabilang na ang kanilang mga anak sa naturang kolehiyo.

Dahil dito, naniniwala si General Azurin, Jr. na makatutulong ito sa kanyang mga tauhan upang maging epektibong pulis, aniya, “I believe the PNP is on track to achieve its goal of becoming a competent and effective law enforcement agency by adhering to our peace and security framework MKK=K or Malasakit, Kaayusan at Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran, and the KASIMBAYANAN program, which is transforming the PNP into a stronger and more responsive police organization. With these, I hope and pray that this united endeavor will be a catalyst towards lasting and genuine development not only within this organization but most of all in our country.”

Naging tampok rin sa programa ang paggawad ng medalya ng kadakilaan sa mga tauhan ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group sa kanilang pagkakakumpiska ng 60 kg na shabu na nagkakahalaga ng Php408 milyon, at medalya ng kasanayan naman sa mga non-uniformed personnel ng DPRM sa nakaraang selebrasyon ng Police Service Anniversary.

Sa pagtatapos ng programa, binigyang pugay ni Guest of Honor and Speaker, Atty. Aileen Lourdes A Lizada, Senior Commissioner ng CSC ang buong hanay ng pulisya sa pagiging frontliner sa pagpapatupad ng batas lalo na ang mga PNP officers na may katangi-tanging paglilingkod sa bayan gaya na lamang ng Cascading of RPSB or Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay ng Police Regional Office 11 na inisyatibo ng dating Regional Director na si Police Brigadier General Filmore Escobal.

“When the leader is good what is cascaded is goodness as well, but when the leader is corrupt the message that being cascaded, it is alright to be corrupt. The distinct role of the PNP in nation building is recognized as your motto provides, to serve and protect, so be good exemplars of what is true and honest public servant, one who is professional with utmost integrity, excellence and spirituality,” dagdag pa ni Atty. Lizada.
