Butuan City – Naaresto ang isang High Value Individual (HVI) sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng Butuan PNP sa Purok 7 Brgy. Fort Poyohon, Butuan City nito lamang Sabado, Disyembre 10, 2022.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Marco Archinue, City Director ng Butuan City Police Office, ang nadakip na si alyas “Alien”, 24, residente ng nabanggit na lugar.
Ayon kay PCol Archinue, bandang 10:00 ng gabi nang naaresto ang suspek ng mga operatiba ng Drug Enforcement Unit ng Butuan City Police Station 2 kung saan nakumpiska ang apat na transparent sachet na may kabuuang timbang na 2-gramo ng hinihinalang shabu at may Standard Drug Price na Php13,600; drug paraphernalia at isang pirasong Php1,000 bill bilang marked money.
Mahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa kasong RA 9165 o Comprehensive of Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“Let this successful operation be a stern warning to those who still think of using illegal drugs; it will only give you a miserable and lonely life. Might as well surrender and avail the array of government rehabilitation programs so that you can have a chance to restart and rebuild yourselves as productive members of our community,” ani PCol Archinue.
