Butuan City – Naaresto ng Butuan PNP ang isang High Value Individual (HVI) sa isinagawang Search Warrant sa Purok-1, Brgy. Obrero, Butuan City nito lamang Huwebes, Nobyembre 17, 2022.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Marco Archinue, City Director, Butuan City Police Office, ang nadakip na si alyas “Roy”, 57, residente ng nasabing lugar.
Ayon kay PCol Archinue, bandang 5:15 ng hapon nang isagawa ang operasyon ng mga tauhan ng Butuan City Police Office-City Intelligence Unit at Butuan City Police Station-2.
Narekober ang 19 na piraso ng heat-sealed transparent sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang timbang na 10 gramo at may Standard Drug Price na Php68,000; isang pirasong coin-purse; itim na pouch; mga plastic cellophane na walang laman, at iba pang drug paraphernalia.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Section 11 at 12, Article II ng R.A. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“May this successful operation be a stern warning to those who still use illegal drugs; don’t wait for us to come knocking on your door. Our government implemented sustainable programs to rehabilitate those who are still into illegal drugs, we only need the cooperation of the community to make our fight against illegal drugs successful,” pahayag ni PCol Archinue.
