Arestado ang isang High Value Individual sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng mga tauhan ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group sa Zone 7, Barangay Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental nito lamang Mayo 10, 2025.

Ayon kay Police Brigadier General Jaysen C De Guzman, kinilala ang suspek na si alyas “Bunso”, 29 anyos, isang driver, residente ng Barangay Mahayahay, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte.

Narekober mula sa suspek ang 15 pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na aabot sa 127 gramo at may Standard Drug Price na Php863,600 at iba pang non-drug items.

Mahaharap ang naturang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o mas kilala bilang “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.

Pinasalamatan ni PBGen De Guzman ang mga kapulisan pati na rin ang pakikipagtulungan ng mamamayan sa pag-aresto sa suspek. “This arrest is the result of continued and coordinated efforts among our law enforcement agencies to target major players in the illegal drug trade. Let this serve as a stern warning to those involved in the drug trade, we are committed to dismantling drug networks that threaten the safety and well-being of our communities.”
