Butuan City – Naaresto ang isang High Value Individual (HVI) matapos mahulihan ng ilegal na droga sa paghahain ng Search Warrant ng Butuan PNP sa Purok-7, Brgy. Pagatpatan, Butuan City nito lamang Biyernes, Nobyembre 25, 2022.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel Marco Archinue, City Director, Butuan City Police Office, ang naaresto na si alyas “Tinoy”, 58, at residente ng nabanggit na lugar.
Ayon kay PCol Archinue, bandang 12:25 ng tanghali nang isagawa ang operasyon ng mga tauhan ng City Intelligence Unit ng Butuan City Police Office at Butuan City Police Station 2 sa bisa ng Search Warrant No. 2022-11-23-01.
Nakumpiska ang 25 piraso ng heat-sealed transparent sachets na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na tumitimbang ng nasa 12-gramo at may Standard Drug Price na Php81,600; isang digital weighing scale; improvised bamboo sealer; isang itim na coin-purse, isang colored coin-purse; isang transparent tumbler; isang transparent Tupperware; isang pulang selecta plastic container; isang brown na sling bag; at mga drug paraphernalia.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa R.A. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“My appreciation to the operatives for a successful illegal drug operation. As I have said, the local police of Butuan are closely monitoring the illegal activities in this City especially when it comes to illegal drugs. We do not want that illegal drugs will remain in Butuan, and it has to stop. Our goal is for Butuan to be an illegal-drug-free City and for that to be achieved we need the cooperation of the community. Let us help one another to achieve that goal because illegal drugs endanger the future of our children and the peace and order of this city,” pahayag ni PCol Archinue.
