Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Romeo Caramat Jr, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 13, ang tatlong naaresto na sina Remark Plaza, 22, John Florence Jubasan at Joey Arlalejo, 23 na pawang residente ng Purok 8, Pier, Bilang-Bilang, Barangay Taft, Surigao City.

Ayon kay PBGen Caramat, bandang 3:00 ng hapon nang maaresto ang tatlong suspek sa nasabing lugar ng mga tauhan ng Surigao City Police Station sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa kasong Rape na walang nirekomendang piyansa.
