Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Romeo Caramat Jr, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 13 ang naaresto na si Michael Gabaldon, 46, residente ng Barangay Alegria, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur.

Ayon kay PBGen Caramat, bandang 7:40 ng gabi ng maaresto si Gabaldon sa tirahan nito ng mga operatiba ng San Francisco Municipal Police Station; 1^st Special Action Battalion; at 11^th at 14^th Special Action Company-Special Action Force.

Ayon pa kay PBGen Caramat, inaresto si Gabaldon sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa kasong Murder sa ilalim ng Criminal Case No. 11559 na inisyu ng Regional Trial Court, 10^th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur na walang inerekomendang piyansa.
