Opisyal nang nagsimula ang Philippine Uniformed Services Sports League (PUSSL) 2025 kahapon, September 16, 2025, sa Grandstand ng Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
Ang naturang sports league ay binubuo ng mga atleta mula sa mga kupunan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Bureau of Customs (BOC), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), at Bureau of Immigration (BI).
Tinatayang nasa 25 sporting events ang itatampok sa nasabing torneyo kabilang na ang basketball, football, volleyball, swimming, cycling, martial arts, shooting, cheer dance, dragon boat, at e-sports.
Samantala dumalo naman sa opening ceremony si Police Lieutenant General Bernard M. Banac, Acting Deputy Chief PNP for Administration, bilang kinatawan ni PNP Acting Chief, Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., kasama si Commodore Zosimo M. Bolaños Jr., AJ1, ng Armed Forces of the Philippines bilang kinatawan naman ni General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., AFP Chief of Staff.
Umarangkada naman ang cheer dance competition pagkatapos ng opening ceremony kung saan nagpakitang gilas ang mga cheer dancers ng bawat koponan ngunit sa huli itinanghal na Champion ang koponan mula sa BJMP, na sinundan naman ng PNP (1st runner up) at PAF (2nd runner up).
Higit pa sa kompetisyon, ang PUSSL ay binuo upang ipakita ang kahalagahan ng malusog na pangangatawan, fair play, at pagkakaisa sa mga makabuluhang layunin sa pagitan ng mga miyembro ng uniformed service at law enforcement agencies sa bansa.
