Kinilala ni Police Major General Nicolas D Torre III, Director ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), ang suspek na si alyas “Rommel” na tinaguriang Top 4 Regional Most Wanted Person ng Police Regional Office 5 (Bicol Region).

Naaresto ang suspek sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa kasong 5 Counts of Statutory Rape, Qualified Sexual Assault, Rape at paglabag sa Section 5(b) ng Republic Act 7610 o “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act”.

“I commend the CIDG Angeles City Field Unit for capturing this suspect, we cannot allow suspects of rape, most especially this qualified rape of minors, to roam around freely, like lurking predators waiting for their preys. With his arrest, we helped the minor victims and their families attain the justice they deserved.
