Arestado ng mga awtoridad ang mag-amang taga-Ilocos Sur sa kasong Illegal Possession of Firearms sa Sitio Barbarit, Barangay San Pedro, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur nito lamang Mayo 14, 2025.
Kinilala ni Police Major General Nicolas D Torre III, Director ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), ang mag-amang sina Bobby at BJ.
Ayon kay PMGen Torre III, naaresto ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng CIDG Ilocos Sur Provincial Field Unit at Ilocos Sur 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company ang mag-ama sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa paglabag sa Republic Act 10591 o “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act” na nagresulta sa pagkakumpiska ng isang (1) caliber 45 pistol, isang (1) caliber 38 revolver, at isang (1) bolt assembly.
Naging matagumpay ang pag-aresto sa mag-ama sa tulong ng Civilian Informants and Detectives (CID) ng CIDG.
