PNP, tumanggap ng P38-M disaster response equipment mula sa Japan

Nasa Php38.9-milyon halaga ng disaster response equipment ang tinanggap ng Philippine National Police (PNP) mula sa pamahalaan ng Japan.

Personal na tinanggap ni PNP Chief, Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar, kasama si DILG Undersecretary Bernardo Florece Jr., ang donasyon mula kay Ambassador Kazuhiko Koshikawa, Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines, noong Oktubre 4, 2021 sa Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.

Ang donasyon na nagkakahalaga ng Php38,944,564.98 ay kinabibilangan ng tatlong (3) Rescue Vehicle, Water Purifier, Portable Movable Toilet, Collapsible Tent, Lighting Apparatus, Life Boat, Personal Rescue Equipment, and Search Sound Detector na gagamitin para sa Search and Rescue Operations.

“I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the Government of Japan for their continuing support to the Philippine police force. We are very grateful for the outpouring of support to our personnel to effectively and timely give response during natural calamities and disaster,” pahayag ni PGen Eleazar.

Ang naturang donasyon ay bahagi ng Non-Project Grant Aid for the Provision of Japanese Disaster Reduction Equipment ng bansang Japan.
