Nanumpa sa katungkulan ang 117 bagong opisyal ng PNP na kabilang sa 2021 Lateral Entry program upang punan ang kakulangan sa Technical Service Officers ng hanay.
Apat (4) na abugado, tatlong (3) medico-legal officer, isang (1) chaplain, at dalawang (2) medical doctor ang nanumpa bilang Police Captain na may basic monthly salary na P56,582 at allowances.
Gayundin, nanumpa ang 107 dentists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, nutritionists, engineers, chemists, forensic criminologists, at IT officers para naman sa ranggong Police Lieutenant na may P49,528 basic monthly salary, iba pang allowances, at mga benepisyo.
“The PNP has gained another batch of professionals and competent police officers as added strength to the workforce of the PNP that will complement to the growing demands of public safety especially in the midst of this ongoing global pandemic”, PNP Chief, Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar said in his speech as he administered the oath of office and donning of ranks of the 117 new commissioned officers.
“This is the time that you should prove your worth. At ako’y naniniwala na lahat kayo ay kwalipikado na maging opisyal ng Philippine National Police”, pahayag ni PNP Chief, Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar sa kanyang mensahe.
Ang mga bagong police commissioned officer ay madedeploy sa Regional Offices at National Support Units.
Samantala, pagkatapos ang panunumpa, pormal na itinurn-over ang mga bagong opisyal sa Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD) upang sumailalim sa Officers Basic Course at Field Training Program bago ideploy sa kani-kanilang mga assignment.
