Arestado ang tinaguriang Deputy Secretary ng Communist Terrorist Group at Top 8 Most Wanted Person sa Regional Level ng mga operatiba ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Misamis Oriental – Provincial Field Unit sa Marawi City, Lanao del Sur nito lamang ika-2 ng Oktubre, 2024.
Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Jaysen C De Guzman, Acting Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 10, ang suspek na si alyas “Kiram Kuya” at “Mecca”, 36 anyos, residente ng Malaybalay City, Bukidnon na miyembro ng Communist Terrorist Group (PSR Listed) na may posisyon na Deputy Secretary ng Platoon Ferrari at Commanding Officer ng SROC under Sub-Regional Committee 5, Northern Central Mindanao Regional Committee (SRC-5, NCMRC).
Nadakip naman ang Top 8 Most Wanted Person sa Regional Level sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9851 o “Philippine Act on Crimes Against International Humanitarian Law, Genocide, and Other Crimes Against Humanity” ng mga operatiba ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Misamis Oriental – Provincial Field Unit katuwang ang 103rd Infantry “Haribon” Brigade ng 1st Infantry Division, Philippine Army at Regional Intelligence Unit 10.
“Let this serve as a stern warning to those who threaten the peace and security of our communities: no one is beyond the reach of justice. PRO 10, in coordination with the AFP and other law enforcement agencies, will continue to pursue those who operate outside the law and ensure that they are brought to justice, for the safety and protection of our people,” saad ni PBGen De Guzman.
