Kinilala ni Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth T Lucas, Regional Director ng PRO CALABARZON, ang dalawang suspek na sina alyas “Larry”, 37, may asawa, mekaniko, residente ng 3419 Fairgrounds Subd., Pasong Buaya II, Imus City, Cavite at alyas “Jan Rey”, HVI, 26, may live-in partner, may-ari ng isang motor shop at residente ng Blk 28 Lot 29, Dasma 4, Salawag, Dasmariñas City, Cavite at pawang nasa Cavite PPO’s Drug Watchlist.
Naaresto ang dalawang suspek dakong 6:26 ng hapon sa B-34 L-19 Lavender St., Fairgrounds Vallejo Place Subdivision, Barangay Pasong Buaya II, Imus City, Cavite ng pinagsanib na mga operatiba ng Special Operations Unit 4A ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group, Imus Component City Police Station, Cavite Police Provincial, Special Enforcement Service Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency ng National Capital Region at Region 4A, Regional Intelligence Unit 4A at Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group 4A.
Nasamsam mula sa dalawang suspek ang hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang timbang na 110 kilogramo at nagkakahalaga ng Php748,000,000; 10 bugkos ng boodle money na nagkakahalaga ng Php1,000,000 at may kasamang isang pirasong Php1,000 na may serial #PR173923 sa isang paper bag na may kulay na army green at isang pirasong Vivo android cellphone.
Nahaharap ang dalawang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5, 26 at 11 ng Republic Act 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
